Understand the skin layers
before choosing a handpiece
HIFU MULTI-X lets you choose handpieces by the depth of the skin layer to be treated. The illustration shows the SMAS layer, which sits between the subcutaneous tissue and the muscle layer, with 4.5 mm as one option for this area.
The actual depth and handpiece used depend on the device manual and a specialist’s assessment

Vortex Lifting Head
The Vortex head spreads energy in a circular pattern over the target area, adding options for programs by area and skin condition.
Cooling Head
Cooling contact head for post-energy care steps, used as appropriate for the service and skin area
Zoom Probe
The Zoom Probe is used for small areas such as around the eyes and forehead; the handpiece and settings should be chosen according to a specialist’s assessment and the device manual.
How the Vortex head
and cooling head work
HIFU MULTI-X has a Vortex head that spreads energy in a circular pattern and an Ice-Cooling head for cooling skin care after energy treatment, so clinics can use them according to area and service sequence.
Tissue response

After energy is applied, tissue may respond in stages, from the early phase to the period when collagen gradually remodels. Timing and results vary between individuals.
